WARRANTY


BATTERY WARRANTY POLICY

All batteries have a 12 or 18 month free replacement warranty. Warranty is described as, and limited to, defects in manufacturer’s materials and workmanship. Warranties are not transferable.

 

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Warranty does not cover the following situations: broken, cracked or swollen cases and tops due to freezing, broken or cracked terminals or stripped threads, altering or tampering with manufacturers date codes or hot stamps, overcharging, neglect or abuse including wreckage, fire, explosion, improper installation, use in applications in which the product was not designed, severe discharge, product damage due to faulty electrical systems or a general and obvious failure to properly use and maintain the product. Any battery matching these descriptions will not be eligible for warranty and sent back at customer’s expense.

A Return Goods Authorization Form must be requested to submit a battery for warranty consideration. All return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. Please call 855-704-8320 to request a Return Goods Authorization Form. A copy of original purchase receipt must accompany any battery returned for warranty consideration.

Please note that receiving a Return Goods Authorization Form does not guarantee free replacement of the battery. Any battery shipped to ThrottleX Batteries without a Return Goods Authorization Form becomes the property of ThrottleX Batteries and ThrottleX Batteries is not obligated to provide a full, or partial, refund or replacement battery.

When the battery has been received by ThrottleX Batteries and verified as a warranty by a qualified service technician an identical replacement will be shipped at no cost to the customer. Please allow up to 10 days to receive replacement battery. Two e-mails will be sent to the customer, one will contain a warranty receipt and the other will include shipment tracking information.

When the battery has been received by ThrottleX Batteries and verified not to be a valid warranty, the customer will be notified of the rejected warranty via the email address provided on the Return Goods Authorization Form. Any return shipping costs will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

Only one free replacement warranty transaction will be allowed per original battery purchase.

Please note ThrottleX Batteries and its products will not be responsible for installation costs, loss of time or profits or other incidental or consequential damages that may occur.

 

 


 

 

BATTERY CHARGER WARRANTY POLICY

 

All chargers have a 3, 5 or 10 year limited warranty. Warranty is described as, and limited to, defects in manufacturer’s materials and workmanship. Warranties are not transferable.

 

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

This limited warranty is void under the following conditions:

  1. The product is misused, subjected to careless handling, or operated under conditions of extreme temperatures, shock, or vibration beyond ThrottleX Batteries recommendations for safe and effective use.
  2. The battery charger is disassembled or repaired by anyone who is not a qualified ThrottleX Batteries service technician.
  3. The electrical connections to either the AC input or the DC output of the charger are modified.

Any battery charger matching these descriptions will not be eligible for warranty and sent back at customer’s expense.

BATTERY CHARGER PURCHASED WITHIN THE LAST 90 DAYS

When the battery charger has been received by ThrottleX Batteries, and verified as a warranty by a qualified service technician, it will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of ThrottleX Batteries. Please allow up to 20 days for the repaired, or replaced, battery charger to be shipped at no cost to the customer. Two e-mails will be sent to the customer, one will contain a warranty receipt and the other will include shipment tracking information.

 

BATTERY CHARGER PURCHASED MORE THAN 90 DAYS AGO

When the battery charger has been received by ThrottleX Batteries and verified as a warranty by a qualified service technician, the results of a battery charger evaluation will be emailed to the customer in the form of a repair estimate. The evaluation results will include the cost of replacement parts and labor.

If the customer accepts battery charger estimate they will be required to contact ThrottleX Batteries at and provide payment information for proper billing. ThrottleX Batteries will be responsible for shipping costs of returning the repaired charger to the customer.

If customer declines estimate, or does not respond within 10 days of the battery charger evaluation email, the battery charger will be considered surrendered and not able to be returned at any future date.

When the battery has been received by ThrottleX Batteries and verified not to be a valid warranty, the customer will be notified of the rejected warranty via the email address provided on the Return Goods Authorization Form. Any return shipping costs will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
